I feel okay about my capstone video. Is it going to be a masterpiece? Probably not. Will it include information about my project? Yes.
I was hoping to try stop motion. Sadly, shaky hands and lack of patience quickly defeated me. Next, I thought I'd try some cute pan shots of me doing a big rainbow breath with nature in the background. But have you ever seen yourself in a video and thought, "who is that????" and not in a good way? I have. I'm not a movie star. I'm a teacher who is more comfortable on stage in my classroom than on the silver screen. Thankfully, JP was able to share some stock footage of professionals doing pretty much what I wanted FOR FREE! It elevates the quality of my otherwise plain adobe spark presentation. Another challenge of this video has been the 90 second time limit. Usually I have no issue staying within time limits because I'm not a very chatty person. However, this is the culmination of our Master's research. I have a lot to say! I'm still playing with the script. As with everything I'm sure it will be just fine.

Hi Catie, I look forward to seeing this professional footage embedded into your capstone video! Way to go JP for getting the access to it! I can completely relate to the struggle to stay within the 90 second time frame. We did SO much work for this capstone, and it is a struggle to edit it down to 90 seconds! The benefits of this shorter video will be that it only encompasses the essential pieces of our capstone, and makes it more user-friendly to understand and watch. Awesome job!

Yay Catie - I'm sure you're video will be wonderful. I couldn't agree more with all that you have said - JP also helped me out with some music for my video, which was awesome, and the 90 second time limit is challenging. Mine is still a few seconds over, hoping that that is ok. I don't like hearing the sound of my voice on those videos, so just want to say the bare minimum, but we have so much to say in such a short space of time! Good luck with finishing it up:)

My video is 7 seconds over because of the "Thank you, naoa Learns and Touro" end frame. Lisa reassured me that was okay because the capstone content of my video is 90 seconds. I agree. It's hard squeezing your entire capstone project, plus your personality into 90 seconds.
